About Exeter & District Relate Counselling
Who is it for?
Relate counselling is open to everyone aged over 16. Whether you are married, living together, in a same-sex relationship, separated, divorced or single, their confidential service can help you to deal with your relationship difficulties.
How much does it cost?
Relate are a charity that relies on the generosity of its clients. They have a donations policy that means people pay what they can afford. Without these donations Relate would cease to exist, and thousands of relationships and families would collapse. Counselling sessions last for about an hour and can cost from £15 to £50 depending on your financial circumstances. We would initially offer you a consultation. This costs £40 (or £25 if you are in receipt of benefits).
Family Therapy Sessions
These sessions are open to families undergoing problems and unable to function as a unit. You can see a Counsellor individually, as a small group or the whole family together. They will encourage each family member to have a voice and help you to resolve your differences together, but won’t take sides or tell you what to do. These appointments are open to couples, children, siblings, grandparents, stepparents and extended families.
